Mike Defuria

Mike Defuria is a New Jersey native and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers University in 2005.  He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.  During his second year in Law School, Mike participated in the Hale Moot Court Honors Program and in his third year, served on the Moot Court Board as a Topic Editor.
 
In 2008, Mike was admitted to the State Bar of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.   Over the course of his years in practice, he has litigated various cases in both State and Federal Courts, including complex business disputes, employment discrimination and wage and hour claims, and personal injury matters, with an emphasis in medical malpractice.  In 2013 and 2015, Mike was honored as a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers. 
 
Outside of work, Mike enjoys donating his time to Habitat for Humanity projects. He is an avid bicyclist and participates in charity running events.
